Markku Salo

Markku Salo is a Finnish designer and glass artist. He graduated as a visual artist from the Kankaanpää Art School in 1974 and as an industrial designer from the University of Art and Design in 1979. In addition to his impressive, unique glass works made with different techniques, Salo is known for his mass-produced glass objects. The Nappi candle holders, the Oliivi glass series, the Aava vases and the Diiva glass series are Salo's best-known mass-produced products.
